Hello, this is @monochromemoons . I go by @cynamoons on twitter. I am one of the participating artists in Haikyuu Fantasy Zine. I am a self-taught artist, an illustrator. It has been 5 years since I first knew Haikyuu and enter the fandom. Even though I dislike volleyball, and sports in general, I don’t know what is it with Haikyuu that made me love it so much (and I actually bought a volleyball because of Haikyuu… I must’ve lost my mind). If you happen to look at my blog, you won’t see much Haikyuu fanart or content, and I’m sorry for that. Even so, I hope with this zine I can convey how much I enjoy Haikyuu and how it became one of the sources of my happiness. I am going to create a piece with Tsukishima Kei as the main character and try to capture the feel of Japanese yokai or spirits and mythology in it. Please look forward to it and give this zine much love. Thank you.
The piece posted is an example of the artist’s work, not the art for the zine. If you’d like to make sure you stay up to date on zine announcements, please either follow our account here, follow @FantasyZines on Twitter, or subscribe to our mailing list here.
Hey guys, a quick note (as of 7/19/17). Tumblr just added a ‘feature’ that shows if you’re online or not by putting a colored icon over part of your avatar. The only place I see it right now is in the messenger, though it might be elsewhere.
It’s showing a friend as online even though they just have a tumblr tab open that they haven’t looked at in hours. It also shows how long ago they were active. They don’t even have the option to turn it off yet.
I have a few problems with this:
I personally don’t like the possibility of being stalked
Person A could get mad at Person B because it said Person B was online but they weren’t (and thus didn’t respond) – or just wasn’t up to talking
Person X could message Person Y and get anxious when person Y doesn’t respond, since it says they’re online
I found the place to turn it off in account settings. There’s a section called “Availability” where you can toggle off the functionality.
On mobile, go to Account -> General Settings -> Privacy and toggle off “Let people see that you’re active.” It’s not under Account -> Visibility, which is probably the more intuitive spot.
Safe browsing, folks.
Reblogging to add the info that if you don’t see it yet, it’s just because tumblr rolls out updates in waves. The original messenger functionality came out in waves too – everybody didn’t get it at once. You’ll see it soon!
Thank You! Thank You for everything. Thank You for all songs, thank You for your beautiful voice, thank You for all great concerts, even if I wasn’t there to see you live. And now, I don’t even have a chance. I’ll miss You forever. We’ll all miss You forever. Always and forever. Thank You for everything.
