^ A small update on my progress

After drawing 3 teams in the past couple of days I grew tired of all the serious faces, had a minor panic attack, an art block, uncontrollable shivers in my arms…. and then I remembered that I haven’t eaten for 2 days… And who knew – after eating something I’m energized, heartrate back to normal, hands as well, mental state a-ok,…

*sigh* why do I forget the most common things?!?!!!

And that’s the story about how I found my groove. =_=

You know, concentrating on speed helps me find a simple approach. I always get lost when there are too many options and digital drawing is….T-T… So yeah, I’m glad I’m doing that dumb challenge. …for now.

I think I’m slowly getting the sai thing. It’s so frigging time consuming, though, and I could still work and work on this pic… more like paint tool *sigh* amirite ahaha I’m Hilarious when angry and sleepdeprived.

So I downloaded the paint tool sai thing just to get an idea of what that program is and…. O_O what is this witchcraft ?? The LINES, man, THE LINES! SO SMOOTH!!! D: and it didn’t crash even once D’: I…I…… T-T

I’m cryyiiinggg! If I want to switch to it I’ll basically have to relearn everything TT-TT I mean, I’ve worked with photoshop for years (before using it for drawing) and knew all the needed shortkeys and its “system” in and out; the only thing I had to learn when I started drawing in it was the brushes… Sai is COMPLETELY new to this old dog.

Ok, I know it looks like a mess, 3 pages / 5 different styles, but I think I found my groove in the last panel. Working with values is just not my thing… if anything I find it annoying af ‘¬¬ …. for now at least…. *sigh* … And yeah, I had a whole month to draw it, but I completely forgot about it until yesterday (except for the 1st one), so this was extremely rushed….and I didn’t plan to end it here, but *no time!*. Forgive me, darling, I’ll try harder next time.
