Iwaizumi isn’t frowning cos he’s grumpy, he just actually needs glasses but he gave Oikawa so much shit for his that he doesn’t dare get a pair in fear of retribution.
Imagine one day when tsukki is able to smile and laugh more freely (because he’s done some growing and is figuring himself out better), he and kuroo (who is pining HARD) are joking around about something or other and are just in good spirits and suddenly kuroo tells tsukki “you have a really nice smile” and then they freeze and kuroo is all like “o shit did i say that out loud” and tsukkis like “wtf did i hear that right??” And they’re both blushing like mad and stuff and then there is some awkward throat clearing and they carry on like nothing happened (but are still freaking out internally) and then later that night after they’ve both gone home, kuroo sends tsukki a text saying “you really do have a nice smile :)”
Hinata is 11/10 the kind of kid to cry if he saw a hickey and assumed it was a bruise. And then express his worries to Yamaguchi and Yachi and get them also worked up about it. And then poor Asahi comes over to see what the first years are fretting about, realizes they’re worried about Suga’s hickeys and just walks away. He’s normally one to worry, but he knows what those are and he is NOT going to be the one to explain to the first years what a hickey is. No sir, not him, that’s Suga’s job. Or Daichi’s. He doesn’t particularly care which.
How did Hanamaki and Matsukawa get dubbed as the ‘meme couple’? Can someone, like, point me toward chapters/episodes where their behaviors would imply as much? Or just describe stuff that happened? I never paid much attention to Seijou (I never really got past thinking Oikawa is annoying in many, many ways and then was always pissed at Kyoutani when he showed up; unpopular opinion, I know; please don’t kill me) and am genuinely curious as to how this came about.

one time when he just decided to get up and go for like the whole day he forgot that they had practice that morning so when kuroo appeared at his house he was giggity gone and he wasn’t answering any of his calls or texts and the only people who had access to the tracker on his phone was Kenma’s parents who were confidently in bora bora for the weekend so it took 37 phone calls 14 email and a Karasuno coach intervention to get through to the parents. Come to find that this doofus wasn’t even in Tokyo anymore. This dude was on the country side. In a whole nother prefecture??
Hinata and the caw crew caught up with him shortly after prompted by kuroo blowing their phones up and when Kenma got back to Tokyo he was in some deep doo doo
Like kuroo was blazing like he was livid
“sO WE JUST LEAVE NOW?? wE dONT ANSWER CALLS NOW??”
“Idk chill I was just going to the park-”

Long story short Kenma was grounded and now the Nekoma, and Karasuno have his tracker info. Tragic kid.
Real talk, while Iwaizumi never expects Valentine’s Day chocolates but he will always remember the person who gave him some. And in return when White Day roles around he will give them something in return. Usually being white chocolate, stationary set or something that he feels the person would appreciate. He doesn’t like being in debt to someone, and it’s the least he could do.
So, uh. Would people be receptive to a haikyuu tech startup au? Cuz like. I can totally see Kuroo and Kenma forming a startup (Kuroo is an engineer you can’t stop me hoho) like for video games or something. And Tsukki gets a degree in computer science or embedded systems or something and Kuroo catches wind of this and is like HEY TSUKKI WANNA JOIN OUR STARTUP and Tsukki doesn’t really have anything better to do (and Yamaguchi is like DO IT I HAVE APP IDEAS) so he’s like yeah sure and it turns out that he and Kenma work really well together. (Maybe we can complete the rebellious hip youngster trio and get Kunimi in on this too, I dunno.) Kuroo, while a genius, is constantly breaking their build or introducing bugs because he keeps making careless mistakes like forgetting to null check or something. And Kenma and Tsukki eventually learn to just assume it’s Kuroo if there’s a major bug. (There’s a git command called ‘git blame’ and it lets you see who made what changes to the codebase and well they don’t really need to use that anymore.) And like Yaku and/or Daichi get in on this because Kuroo probably roped them into it. Yaku does more UI stuff or something. Daichi helps with process flow. Maybe he sets up a continuous integration server and manages the build. Idk but he and Yaku also seem like they could be engineers too. They pull in Yamaguchi for beta testing because he gives really good feedback and he’s always like “so when you have the time I have this app idea” and they eventually get this huge backlog of potential projects and work on multiple things at a time. Actually they use Bokuto for beta testing too because they wanna make sure their stuff is user friendly. Bokuto is no idiot, but he’s not good with technology so he’s a decent representative for the “common man” (also he wants to help his friends out because he’s a good guy like that). Also probably Lev and Hinata do that too. Akaashi eventually helps them out with like business/legal stuff (maybe he eventually teches himself to code and helps out with development or unit/functional testing or something; to me he’s the type of guy that can go into whatever field he wants and be successful- he’s smart and adaptable like that). I could go on but this is already long and I’m really sorry if there’s some jargon in here that makes no sense but I’ve been thinkin about this and had to get it out.
Akaashi headcanon: if he does not have some sort of structured outline or plan or checklist or process or any of that sort of thing, his brain starts working too fast and he gets overwhelmed and eventually shuts down and does nothing for hours. He needs to sit down and breathe and reorganize his thoughts before he can proceed. He is quick on his toes, but this is because he takes the time to prepare and equip himself with the necessary mechanisms to handle certain situations. (This is totally me projecting. When I can’t be methodical about something my brain basically explodes. I need to plan ahead. I can’t handle spontaneity unless I plan for it.)
