Painting process of “Forest”

1. Base color – You should decide which objects needs to stay white as the first layer, then fill the rest using as many colors as you can and like, because you wouldnt be able to see things if you don’t :”p work with the skin colors and finish adding layers to it before going to a darker layer at the bg, that way the skin wont be “harmed” when dark colors bleed.

2. Second layerr added – with this layer you may add up to 2 colors for the background and make sure the color is darker than the first ones. Try to use one main color to seperate all the distinctive object like flowers and leaves, start adding details at this point if you like.

3 – Work on the upper part of the painting, define objects behind by painting the rear of them with darker color, here I’m mixing Cobalt Blue and Black for the third layer.

At this point it’s a little bit complicated (depends on how much detailed you want the piece to be :”>) so you might need to use a sharper tip brush.

4 – Finish touch. Add up all the details of the leaves and mushrooms, re-define your characters if you want them to be  more significant. Here I’m using inks and number 5 sharp-tip brush to outlining her :”> I also splatter white poster color to make things more interesting (it’s fun tho), you can replace it with white gouache :”>

Have fun painting guys, and sorry for my terrible English TvT
