So, THIS happened… OvO DOUBLE F-ING RAINBOW!!! Wish I had my camera with me… T-T
Actually, it happened yesterday, but whatever, still pretty neat.
ahaha had to run off in the middle of a stream (bc a client came by) and was so much in a rush that aparently I missed the “end stream” button… I’m crying!! I’m doing the streams bc this way I don’t have to edit anything… ahahahahhaaa me and my dumb ass… I think I’ll just put it on private and finish the outlines off screen… *sigh*
Came to work today and discovered an egg on the terasse… (I don’t think it’s easter related) FFS!! The same thing happened 2yrs ago and, sure, when they hatched we all thought HOW ADORABLE and whatever, cute little ducks, KAWAII cheesuschrist. And you know what happened on a sunny morning a couple of days later? Dead ducklings downstairs.
Wth am I supposed to do now??
Now there are two eggs
Called a “place” and they said since ducks are “wild” birds they can’t really do anything rn and to call them when they hatch, but a-HA! I read a bit on it yesterday and it said that duckling leave their nest in a matter of hours!! So the (very kind) lady on the phone apologized and said that they still can’t take them away, bc the mommy won’t find them…….and to call them again when they’re dead so they’ll take care of the corpses..
A bit morbid, but, ok, understandable….kinda….
Also, it snowed today, so, yeah….maybe they won’t hatch at all..?
They’re getting more….
Also, I jammed a drawing board (it was the only thing I had handy) between the nest and the sure doom, so hopefully that helps a bit… But it snows again, so I’m not sure if it was

Yesterday I thought I needed more me-drama in my life, bc besides being frustrated with myself over the lack of progress regarding drawing listening to other people’s problems made me feel like I should also have some. (Stupid, right? Not yet, my friend.) So, I thought what would be doable for a goody-goody person in recovery like me that wouldn’t be too much of a change but also teach me something. Well, I thought of unprivating my “art” dump blog, but that’s just one click, and who knows if I’d ever be able to produce content on a regular basis, so (HERE comes the stupid.) I challenged myself.
10 days, 100 drawings (scribbles/doodles/b-days/whatever included). If I manage to pull that off I’ll unprivate it.
Yesterday my eye almost fell out trying to draw 10 things and I ended up winging it. Today is a new day.
Wish me luck.
SPRIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNGGGG HAS COOOOOOOOOOOMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok. I need my camera, 3 boxes of tissues, and a day off.
You know, no matter how old you are, whatever happens, wherever you are, you can learn something new.
In his late 20s, a friend of mine, travelled to Japan to enroll in a school for design, he wanted to become a fashion designer. After two years he realized that the actual designing wasn’t fun for him, but he loved the economical and marketing aspects of fashion. 5 years later, he’s still happily working somewhere in Kyoto.
One of my cousins was sent to work at sea when he was 18 (something like army). His punk-ass couldn’t behave for even one day, so, as a disciplinary measurement, he was sent to peel piles of potatoes
(daily). When his time on the ship came to an end he didn’t become any more well behaved, but, man, he was able to peel potatoes in seconds!
And a last example is from my own schooldays. We had obligatory classes that taught us touch typing. Do you think I learned how to do that? Nope, but my peripheral vision got so great that I became rather good at playing basketball. And to this day I’m usually able to contain my own speed on a crowded street thanks to that.
There’s a saying in Russia: live a century long, learn a century long.
Big things, small things, everything can become an experience, a lesson. Sometimes I forget that and need a reminder that life’s lessons teach you only the things you take from them, so open your eyes and mind to possibilities.
Long story short: I’ll give Paint tool sai a chance.
So I downloaded the paint tool sai thing just to get an idea of what that program is and…. O_O what is this witchcraft ?? The LINES, man, THE LINES!SO SMOOTH!!! D: and it didn’t crash even once D’: I…I…… T-T
I’m cryyiiinggg! If I want to switch to it I’ll basically have to relearn everything TT-TT I mean, I’ve worked with photoshop for years (before using it for drawing) and knew all the needed shortkeys and its “system” in and out; the only thing I had to learn when I started drawing in it was the brushes… Sai is COMPLETELY new to this old dog.
